Welcome to BitesBanq! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, website, and mobile applications (collectively, "Services"). By using BitesBanq, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.
2. Eligibility & User Obligations
- You must be at least 18 years old to use BitesBanq.
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date registration information, including your name, email, and phone number.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Services Overview
BitesBanq provides the following services:
- Group Savings: Users pool funds to purchase food packages collectively.
- Vendor Orders: Vendors fulfill bulk orders placed using collective savings.
- Delivery Services: Third-party logistics partners manage deliveries.
- Referral Program: Users can earn rewards through the Founders Board.
4. Account Security & Fraud Prevention
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, notify support@bitesbanq.com immediately.
- BitesBanq reserves the right to investigate and take action against fraudulent activities.
5. KYC & Identity Verification
To access certain features, such as forming a savings group, you may be required to provide:
- A valid government-issued ID.
- Proof of address (e.g., utility bill).
- Additional information as required for compliance with financial regulations.
Failure to provide valid verification may result in account restrictions.
6. Payment Processing & Fees
- All transactions are processed via third-party payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave). Their terms apply.
- Transaction fees may apply and will be disclosed before payment.
- BitesBanq is not responsible for payment processing errors, chargebacks, or delays.
7. Refunds & Cancellations
- Contributions to savings groups are final and non-refundable once pooled.
- Vendor orders may be canceled before processing, subject to vendor policies.
- Refunds for failed transactions will be handled by the payment provider.
8. Founders Board & Referral Program
- Users can share referral links to earn rewards.
- Only successful sign-ups and participation in savings groups count.
- The top 50 referrers are eligible for rewards.
- BitesBanq reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content, trademarks, and software are the property of BitesBanq.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer our platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
- BitesBanq is not liable for losses due to user actions, vendor errors, or third-party service failures.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- Users assume all risks associated with transactions, including fraud risks.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes between users or with vendors must be resolved directly.
- BitesBanq may mediate but has no obligation to enforce resolutions.
- All legal disputes shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria.
12. Prohibited Activities
- Using BitesBanq for money laundering, fraud, or illegal transactions.
- Harassing, threatening, or harming other users.
- Spamming, phishing, or unauthorized use of the platform.
13. Account Termination
- Users may delete their accounts at any time.
- BitesBanq reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.
- Outstanding savings or contributions must be settled before closure.
14. Data Protection & Privacy
Our data collection and usage practices are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to our data handling practices.
15. International Use & Compliance
BitesBanq is primarily operated in Nigeria, and compliance with international financial regulations may be required for some users. If you access our Services from outside Nigeria, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with your local laws.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Users will be notified via email or in-app alerts. Continued use of our Services after updates constitutes acceptance.
